AutoFile Delay Feature for Duplications.

When Autofiling creates multiple files - or fails inconsistently it is usually because the file is being delivered to the AutoFile location in chunks.  Either as a result of a large copy or as result of a program that streams to that location.

 

How to implement a delay to prevent the above from occurring:

 

1. Copy the attached XML file into the “AutoFiling” folder under the “Doc-ItServer” folder on the Doc.It Server.
   
2. Create a subfolder under the "AutoFiling" folder.
   
3. Modify the XML file to change the <FolderName>PrintedTaxReturns</FolderName>line to match the subfolder created in step 2
4. Restart the Autofiling service.  This can be done by opening and closing the Maintenance\Doc.It AutoFiling application.
5. Direct users to point tax software printouts to new folder created in step 2
