Dedicated Scan Stations Still Use Doc.It Scan v3 - How To Install and Setup

The Doc.It Scan v4.x.x should only be used in conjunction with Doc.It Suite V4 on a client workstation.

To use Doc.It Scan on a dedicated system please use the following install file to install a stand alone Doc-It Scan v3.6.9

This will place a shortcut on the desktop for you. Be sure to remove any shortcuts to Doc.It Scan v4

Once install is complete, edit the following text files to contain the name of the Doc.It Server

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Doc-ItTemp\ServerPath.txt
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Doc-ItTemp\NetworkPath.txt

\\<server>\doc-itserver - replace <server> with the Doc.It server name.

For local OCR processing, install the following: C:\Program Files (x86)\Doc-It\Third Party\OCRSetup33.exe

Start Doc.It Scan and test.
