How-to setup Two-factor Authentication (2FA)

Follow the steps below to configure the Two-factor authentication (2FA).

The 2FA setup can be done in version 5.0 and later. Enabling the 2FA will require internal users and external portal users use two-factor authentication. A mobile app can be installed on a tablet or mobile phone for this purpose. Microsoft Authenticator is an example of the required app, but there are other apps as well.

            1.      Log into Doc.It with Admin privileges and open the Maintenance window.

            2.      Click Users to open the Users utility and then click Manage in the upper right corner.

            

            4.      Follow the steps in the following window to setup the security key. This will involve using an authentication app on your cell phone or tablet.
