Manage Tree - Asset Type

Displayed on this page is your Asset Type tree displaying all the Asset Type folders.

Select the Asset folder to view the sub-folders. Select each of these folders to display any sub-folders. A red item inside a folder indicates an asset.

The folders currently displayed in the tree can be modified by right-clicking on the required folder and selecting one of the following options:

Create

Select Create to add a New Folder in the tree. Enter a name for your folder, then press Enter to complete the process.

Manage Questions

Select Manage Questions to display the Manage Questions page where new questions can be created and existing questions can be edited or deleted for the selected folder.

Depreciation

Select Depreciation, then select from the following options:

• Depreciation Method — the choices are Disabled, Straight Line, or Reducing Balance, the default is Disabled.
• Depreciation Period — the choices are from 1 year to no expiry.
• Depreciation Percent — the User can type any percentage value.
• Apply down the tree — select the check box if you want to apply these depreciation settings to this folder and all sub-folders.

Rename

Select Rename to rename the selected folder.

Delete

Select Delete to delete the selected folder, including all its associated questions.

Deleted folders cannot be retrieved and all Assets lose their link to an Asset type but are not deleted from the system.
