Devices

On this page a table shows the network devices previously discovered by the Network Discovery Tool. It is organised by device type. The device headings in the table depend on those found when the Network Discovery Tool was last run and might contain the following:

  • Laptop
  • Printer
  • Server
  • Unknown — include items that cannot be identified as specific device types, e.g., switches, hubs etc.

Select the relevant Device Type to display the devices that have been found. The following might be displayed:

  • Asset ID (if the asset is linked)
  • IP Address
  • MAC Address
  • Make
  • Last Update (the date when the Network Discovery Tool was last run)

  • Operating System
  • Processor type
  • Name
