Select from Previous Entries
The Select from Previous Entries window enables you to select comments recorded against previous timesheet entries for re-use against new entries.
It is accessed by selecting the Details: Select from Previous Entries option in the Calendar Timesheet Entry window.
The comments from previous timesheet entries that are displayed for re-use are filtered according to your selections in the Comment Selection Options region:
- Select By - Select the relevant radio button to view previous comments relating to either the Job or the Charge Account selected in the Calendar Timesheet Entry window.
- Entered By - Select the relevant radio button to view previous comments entered by either the current timesheet owner (TSOwner) only, or by Anyone.
- Save Selection - Preserves your current Comment Selection Options settings for the next time you view the Select from Previous Entries window.
The editable text field beneath the Comment Selection Options initially displays any text currently entered in the Details field in the Calendar Timesheet Entry window, or is blank.
The lower grid with Date and Comment columns displays any comments recorded against previous entries.
To re-use any comment from a previous entry:
- Double-click the relevant row in the lower grid, or select that row and select Select.
- The comment is inserted as a new line in the text field above, where you can edit it.
To insert the contents of the text field into the Details field in the Calendar Timesheet Entry window:
- Select OK.
- The Select from Previous Entries window is closed automatically.
