July 14th, 2026 Release Notes
The following fixes and updates have been made to Payroll Relief on July 14th, 2026. It includes details about Minnesota (MN) PFML form updates, Rate Editor tax updates, several compliance form corrections, and the discontinuation of Zendesk chat support.
Compliance — Minnesota PFML (MN)
MN PFML Quarterly PDF Forms Updated Update
The existing MN PFML quarterly wage report PDF has been renamed to reflect the Joint UI-Paid Leave Account filing, and a new companion PDF has been added for employers with one or more SUTA-exempt employees who must file under the Paid Leave Only account.
Rate Editor Updates
Pennsylvania Local Tax Rate Updates (July 2026) Update
Routine Pennsylvania local tax rate changes have been applied, including Philadelphia's resident (3.735%) and non-resident (3.425%) wage tax rates, both effective July 1, 2026.
Alaska SUI Wage Base Correction Fix
The employee-portion wage base for Alaska SUI was not updating correctly and has been corrected.
Form and Report Updates
Form 940 Continuation Worksheet for Employers with more than 5 States New
Employers reporting FUTA credit reduction wages in more than 5 states now get a continuation page for the Line 10 worksheet, so all states can be listed.
NC-5Q Form — 1099 Withholding Correction Fix
The North Carolina NC-5Q quarterly form was omitting 1099 (contractor) state withholding for employers who processed both contractor and employee payrolls with NC withholding in the same quarter. It now includes both correctly.
Boone, KY (Form 1907) Address Fix Fix
The address printed at the bottom of the Boone, KY local quarterly form (1907) now displays correctly instead of showing as a placeholder.
Alabama Local Quarterly Forms and Check Ordering Fix
Alabama city quarterly forms and their associated checks now print in the same order.
Platform Updates
Zendesk Chat Discontinued Update
Zendesk chat has been discontinued. Please use the IRIS Agent for support questions going forward.
General fixes
Check Printing and Third-Party Payment Fixes Fix
Third-party checks were pulling an incorrect account number. This has been corrected. A separate issue that could cause checks to be removed from Check Printing has also been fixed.
New Mexico Quarterly E-file Error Fix
An e-file error affecting the New Mexico NM-ES903A quarterly filing has been corrected.
