Export to Excel
In Credit Control you have two 'export to Exce'l options. You can either export client-specific AR details, or you can export all of the outstanding AR information currently displayed on the main Credit Control screen.
Export Client-specific AR
With this type of export, all of the data for the Client is exported, including Notes, Outstanding Fees, and Invoice and Receipt Allocations (ie. all of the detail in the fully expanded grid row).
To export one client’s AR details, simply right-click the grid row on which the Client's details are displayed, and select Export from the context menu. This displays a standard file explorer, via which the Client's data can be saved to Excel.
On export, the workbook is automatically loaded into an Excel workbook.
Export Current AR View
With this type of export, all of the outstanding AR information currently displayed on the main Credit Control screen is included in the export.
This type of export does not include any of the detail in expanded grid rows, ie. it does not include Notes, Outstanding Fees, or Invoice and Receipt Allocations.
To export the current AR view, simply click the Export button on the toolbar. This displays a standard file explorer, via which the current view of AR data can be saved to Excel.
On export, the workbook is automatically loaded into an Excel workbook.
Default Excel Filenames
In the file explorer, the filename defaults to: 'Credit Control yyyymmddhhmmss.xlsx', where yyyymmddhhmmss is a variable comprised of the time and date of the last save: year/month/day/hour/minutes/seconds. The file type defaults to .xslx and cannot be changed.
