Preferences
Credit Control allows you to configure the following display preferences:
- Ageing column categories and captions.
- Colour coded Days to Pay categories.
- Preferred contact address.
- 'Exceeds Credit Limit' colour code.
The Preferences window is accessed via the Preferences 
option on the toolbar.
If you edit your Preferences and click OK to save your changes, then your Client List data will be updated and reloaded.
Ageing Columns
In this region, specify the age ranges for a maximum of seven Ageing columns, and enter a meaningful Caption (column header) for each.
To reset all of the editable values in this section to their defaults, click the Reset to Defaults button .
Days to Pay
In this region, you can specify which colours are used to highlight different date ranges. This is used to colour-code flags signifying varying states of urgency or imminence.
To reset all of the editable values in this section to their defaults, click the Reset to Defaults button .
Preferred Address
The Preference selected in this region determines which address is displayed on the main screen, either Client address, Default Contact or Statement Contact.
With this Preference set, if either a Default Contact or Statement Contact has been set up, Credit Control Mail Merge can apply the Salutation, Friendly Salutation etc. for the appropriate Contact.
Exceeds Credit Limit Colour
In this region, simply select from the list control an appropriate colour to flag any credit value that exceeds an effective credit limit.
