Opportunity Ranking
Every Business Opportunity record displays a Ranking value. This is the numeric ranking of the Opportunity, in relation to other Opportunities recorded in the system. Opportunity ranking is calculated automatically, according to criteria defined by your organisation.
Star’s default Ranking is based on the total number of available opportunities for the current user. The formula used to calculate it is as follows:
First Year Revenue x (First Year Realisation ÷ 100) x (Probability ÷ 100)
However, this formula can be re-defined by a User-defined Stored Procedure, ps_sdlc_tblOpportunities_UPDATE_Ranking_UserDefined. For advice on User-defined Stored Procedures, contact your Star consultant.
