Key highlights

New features and enhancements

Billing and invoicing

  • Open the related Client or Job record directly from the Detailed WIP, Client/Job, and Bill Approve grids, without leaving your billing workflow. These options are automatically disabled when a record isn't available.
  • Approving a batch of bills now returns control to you more quickly, since related background processing no longer holds up the approval screen.
  • Clearer on-screen guidance in Pass to Approve and Set Stage - if nothing is selected, you'll see a message explaining what to do next instead of the action appearing to do nothing.

Custom forms (User Defined Fields)

  • Forms that use custom dropdowns and control arrays now open noticeably faster, thanks to smarter caching of form information behind the scenes. Any changes an administrator makes to a form are reflected immediately.

Bug fixes and reliability improvements

Time and expenses

  • The comments window no longer becomes stuck if a request fails; you'll now see a clear notification instead.
  • Switching between timesheets is faster and no longer freezes the screen while the next timesheet loads.
  • Fixed an issue where switching between grid tabs could occasionally cause an error.

Notifications

  • System notifications - including error messages, record-locking alerts, and automatic log-out warnings - now reconnect more reliably after a brief network interruption, so you're less likely to miss an important alert.

System improvements

Reliability and monitoring

  • Improved behind-the-scenes application monitoring, helping our support and engineering teams identify and resolve issues faster.
  • Routine update to a third-party security component as part of our ongoing security maintenance programme.
