Create or Edit a Filter Component

The first step in the creation of a new Filter Component is simply to define an entry for it in the Filter Component List. You must then define the Filter's Elements.

In the Filter Component List, either:

• Click New to enter the details of a new Filter, or
• Click Edit on the appropriate row to manage the details of an existing Filter.

The elements in the Edit Filter Component and New Filter Component screens are identical except for the title.

In this screen:

1. Enter the Label by which the Filter will be identified.

2. Save - Saves your changes.

   If you are creating a new Filter Component, then the new Component is created and itemized in the Filter Component List, where you can now, click Elements to add Elements to the new Filter.

   If you have only edited the Label of an existing Component, then that Label is updated in the Filter Component List.

3. Cancel - Returns you to the Filter Component List, discarding any changes.
