Business Central Integration Enhancements

This release streamlines the setup of our Business Central integration, reducing the time and effort required during onboarding. While the integration has been available previously, it depended on extensive backend configuration. With this enhancement, our teams can now complete the setup far more quickly, allowing clients to connect to Business Central sooner and begin benefiting from the integration with minimal delay.

Enhanced Credit Note Numbering Controls

This release delivers a comprehensive improvement to credit note numbering, giving firms clearer control and more reliable handling of credit note sequences across all entities. The enhancement reduces manual effort, supports a wider range of numbering formats, and ensures numbering remains stable and compliant even in high‑volume environments. These updates provide a smoother, more predictable billing experience and help firms maintain accurate financial records with less administrative work.

 

Bug Fixes

Improved Portfolio Job Performance - This update improves the speed of checking portfolio jobs, especially for clients with a high volume of jobs. The enhancement reduces delays when opening or reviewing job lists, resulting in faster load times and smoother navigation for users managing large portfolios.

Faster Loading of Child Jobs - This release improves performance when loading child jobs within job hierarchy views, allowing users quicker access to related work and reducing delays in complex job structures.

Corrected WIP Transfer Blocking Behavior - This fix resolves an issue where WIP Transfers were incorrectly blocked when a billing session remained open. Locks are now managed correctly so users can complete WIP Transfers without unnecessary interruptions.

Removal of Extra Blank Lines in Invoice Text - This update resolves a formatting issue that caused unwanted blank lines to appear in invoice line items after editing, ensuring cleaner and more professional‑looking invoice output.

Scheduling Staff Selection Error Fix - This release fixes an error that occurred when adding staff in scheduling before any grid settings had been saved, ensuring a smoother setup experience for scheduling users.

Large Budget Calculation Fix - This update resolves a calculation issue that occurred when saving very large budgets, ensuring high‑value budgets process accurately and without errors.

Correct Currency Dating on Approval - Bills created in the entity’s own currency are now correctly dated at the time of approval, removing delays caused by unnecessary exchange‑rate lookups.

Merged PDF Generation for Multi‑Entity Billing - This fix resolves an issue that prevented merged PDFs from generating for bills belonging to a non‑default entity, ensuring consistent PDF output across all entities.

Accurate Audit Trail Descriptions - Audit trail descriptions now display correctly in the billing audit log, improving transparency and accuracy when reviewing billing activity.

Scheduling Timeline Display Fixes - This update resolves issues that caused the scheduling timeline layout to display incorrectly after sorting, ensuring a stable and predictable scheduling view.

Corrected Timer Display - This fix resolves an issue where the timer occasionally showed invalid values instead of the correct elapsed time, improving time‑tracking reliability.

Future Bills Last Invoice Date Fix - The Last Invoice Date now displays correctly on the Future Bills screen, giving users an accurate view of recent billing history.

Improved Responsiveness on Slow Networks - This enhancement prevents the application from appearing frozen on slower network connections, improving overall usability in low‑bandwidth environments.

Regional Formatting Fix for Canadian French - A regional formatting issue in scheduling has been resolved to ensure date and number formats display correctly when using Canadian French settings.

Correct Application of Jurisdiction Filters in Timesheets - Jurisdiction filters now apply correctly when viewing another user’s timesheet, ensuring more accurate timesheet review and compliance tracking.

Correct Job Status Filtering - Job Status filters now work as intended within the job list, allowing users to reliably filter and locate the work they need.

Tickler Type Field Now Editable - The Tickler Type field in Credit Control is now editable, if user privileges allow.

Minimum WIP Balance Filter Correction - The minimum WIP balance setting in Edit Filter now works correctly when filtering for billable jobs, allowing more precise filtering for billing preparation.
