Run period end
IT Manager Practice Admin
Ensure that the next period is set up before running the period end. You will also need to analyse the period to check for any errors before proceeding.
If the system is left locked after the period end is run, it can be unlocked by going into the current period and selecting the unlock button.

Select Admin > Periods from the menu. The Practice Engine Period End page displays all existing years and periods. Identify the current period, then select Analyse Period from the Action column.

The period end can only be run with the system is locked down. Click Lock Down. Users will be able to continue to use the system, but transactions cannot be posted until the system is unlocked.

The Run Period End button is then enabled. Click this button. After the period end has been run, a summary of the results for the period will be displayed. The system will now be rolled forward
into the next period. -
Once complete, a dialog is displayed prompting you to unlock the system. The new period will now have a status of Current and the old period will have a status of Complete.
