Custom Form Toolbars

Each custom form features a toolbar that provides access to the main functions in the form - Save and Continue, Save and Close, Exit, Tools, Prev, Next - as described below.

  • Save and Continue - Saves the form in its current state, and leaves it open.

  • Save and Close - Saves the form in its current state, and closes it.

    On any Save, the application may prompt you to specify the Effective Date for the change.

  • Exit - Closes the form without saving any changes.
  • Tools(in all forms)
    • Add to Favourites - Adds the record currently open in the form to the currently logged-in user's Favourites.
  • Tools (Jobs only):

    • WIP Transfer - Displays a WIP Transfer window.

      WIP Transfer functionality is outside the scope of this document.

  • Tools(Staff only):
    • Update Partner / Update Manager / Update Supervisor - Updates the Partner, Manager or Supervisor to the current database setting, and displays a confirmation dialog to that effect.

    • Expense Type Assignments - Displays an Expense Type Assignments window.

      Expense Type Assignments are outside the scope of this document.

    • Workgroup assignments - Displays a Workgroup Assignments window.

      Workgroup Assignments are outside the scope of this document.

  • Prev - Move to the previous form.
  • Next - Move to the next form.
