Data Inputs and Tab Controls

Since every Custom Forms configuration is unique, any of these controls may (or may not) be implemented in any given Custom Form.

In this section:

  • For an introduction to the control types most commonly configured for data input in Custom Forms, see Control Types.
  • For a description of indicators that individual inputs are mandatory to complete, have been duplicated within a form, or not rendered, see Flagged or Highlighted Fields.
  • For a list of the standard tab controls (grids and fields) that may be included in Custom Forms, see Tab Controls.
  • For the associations between data inputs in Client, Job, Staff and Contact Custom Forms and fields in the Client, Job, Staff and Contact tables in the Star database.
