IT Manager Practice Admin

Period end is a fundamental part of IRIS Practice Engine. To promote best practice, we recommend considering the following:

• What reports are required before the period end is run?

• When are new periods created?

• Are future dated draft bills allowed on the system when the period end is being run?

• Post all bills and clear out drafts that are not required.

• Make sure all timesheets, expenses, disbursements and cash has been posted.

• Take a backup before the period end routine is run.
